Founded in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho in 2018. Specialist translation where accuracy is a requirement, not a differentiator.
The Pacific Northwest needed something it wasn't getting.
We started to-translation in 2018 because the Idaho and eastern Washington market had a specific problem. Law firms, outdoor brands, agricultural exporters, and mining companies in the region needed translation that held up under professional scrutiny. The available options were either large national agencies with no specialist depth or individual freelancers without quality infrastructure.
We built to-translation to close that gap. The focus from day one was specialist translators with real professional backgrounds in the relevant subject area, paired with an internal review step before any document goes out.
We are based in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. Our client base covers the Pacific Northwest and the broader US market. The work is done digitally, which means we have served clients in 28 states without a physical presence there.
How we work
Subject-matter specialists
Every project is handled by a translator with professional or academic background in the relevant field. Documents requiring legal knowledge go to legally trained translators. Technical content goes to engineers and technical writers.
Independent review
Every completed translation is reviewed by a second, independent linguist before delivery. The reviewer has no involvement in the original translation and approaches the document fresh.
No machine translation
We do not use machine translation or AI post-editing for any project. Our translators work in the source language, not cleaning up machine output. This is a firm policy, not a case-by-case decision.
